National Breast Cancer Walk

(Jersey City, October 28, 120123) The Alaris Member Health Centers participated in the Annual Breast Cancer Walk on October 20, 2013. The center’s staff participated in fundraising and volunteered at either of the two destinations in New Jersey where the walk took place. The center’s raised their donations by holding bake sales, selling pink items or wearing pink, which helped the centers raise thousands of dollars used toward finding a cure and for the treatment of Breast Cancer!

The teams at the Alaris Member Health Centers within Hudson and Essex county, volunteered and walked, on Sunday October 20, 2013 to help support and raise money for finding a cure. The walk was extremely well attended with many volunteers on hand to ensure that all details of the walk went smoothly.

“There was a wonderful feeling of camaraderie with music playing and people cheering on the walkers. Everyone knew that they were there for a cause and were proud to participate,” says Miriam Schenker, Administrator of Alaris Health at The Chateau
