New Jersey, July 1, 2016 – Tributes continue to pour in for Colin Williams, Alaris Health’s Director of Business and Community Development for Essex County. He passed away suddenly this past Monday night. He was only 53 years old.
“We have lost a dear friend and trusted colleague,” said Patty Donovan, Alaris Health’s Director of Case Management. “Colin was an amazing, kind, and sweet man, as well as a hardworking, respected employee for Alaris Health. I have been honored to work closely with Colin over the years, and lucky to have had that opportunity again in the most recent weeks.”
Trevor Dublin, LNHA, the Administrator at Alaris Health at St. Mary’s, remembered Colin as “larger than life, a very hard worker, a warm positive personality that had excellent relationships with the doctors, hospitals, staff, and community at large. He will be greatly missed.”
Diane King, the Business Office Manager at Alaris Health at St. Mary’s, called Colin “Alaris Health’s GIANT TEDDY BEAR with a great sense of humor”.
Patty Donovan agreed, pointing out Colin’s “ability to turn any situation into a positive experience and to have a sense of humor even in the most difficult of situations will be sorely missed.”
Colin started with the company at St. Mary’s in 1989.
He leaves behind his wife, Rose, and four children. Colin’s oldest son is a police officer, his two daughters are in nursing school, and his youngest son, Colin, Jr., is in high school.
Alaris Health’s thoughts and prayers are with Colin’s family during this sad and difficult time. Alaris Health continues to mourn the loss of our irreplaceable colleague and friend, Colin Williams.
A GoFundMe.com Memorial Fund campaign has been set up in Colin’s name. All proceeds will be donated to the family for continuing education costs of Colin’s children. The Alaris Health Foundation will match all contributions up to $10,000.
