Alaris Health at Jersey City Sets Up Voting Poster Board for Residents

IMG_1153Jersey City, NJ, July 3, 2018 – At Alaris Health we believe that voting is an important resident right.  As such, the Social Service Department at Alaris Health at Jersey City, led by Krystle Rodriguez, CSW, and Stacey Heller, LSW, have created an easy to read poster, which was situated in the lobby, at wheelchair height for their residents.

This poster clearly described the officials who are running for office, such as Bob Menendez and Bob Hugin, amongst others, and what their stances are on important matters.  It even displayed the public questions that are posed during this election time.

Krystle and Stacey thought that this poster board would help answer any questions the residents may have had on voting. According to Stacey, “voting is an important resident right. We want to ensure we allow all of our residents to exercise their right to vote”.

Social Service staff all have accompanied residents to the voting area, which was very close in proximity to the facility.
