Lydia Rosado, a resident of Alaris Health at The Fountains – North Campus, recently celebrated her 100th birthday on July 27. The Recreation Department planned a special celebration for her and all of the residents enjoyed cake and ice cream to honor the milestone birthday.
Ms. Rosado, a former resident of Parlin, NJ, has lived at The Fountains – North Campus since 2010. Back in 1913, the year of her birth, Woodrow Wilson was President. Ms. Rosado remembers the challenging time of the Great Depression as well as World War II, which began in 1935.
“Lydia is a joy, very alert and upbeat, and the other residents were happy to celebrate her special day. She enjoys visits from her son and loves to dance. This was a momentous occasion for her and we are happy to have Lydia as part of our family,” says Paul Cohen, Administrator.
