Alaris Health at Rochelle Park, a 167 bed-skilled nursing Center in Rochelle Park, New Jersey, seeks a housekeeping aide to ensure that the Center is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition at all times to provide for care and welfare of the residents in a healthful environment. Additional responsibilities include:

• following specific cleaning and service instructions and procedures in a safe manner
• completing all assignments scheduled in each unit and giving each unit the attention required to provide a sanitary, odor-free, orderly environment
• checking stock and notifying supervisor of supply needs
• maintaining equipment in good working condition and returning it to proper location after use
• and above all, ensuring that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights

• High school degree or equivalent is preferred
• Ability to perform essential job functions
• Must be able to read, write and understand the English language and follow oral and written instructions
• Possess working knowledge of standard materials, techniques and equipment used in cleaning activities
• Ability to positively interact with everyone from residents to government agencies and the general public
