Job Information:

Alaris Health Dialysis at Hamilton Park, a 21 station outpatient Dialysis Center in Jersey City, New Jersey, seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator to lead the hemodialysis team in the provision of quality driven patient care.
Responsibilities include:
• Supports an environment of safe effective delivery of care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Reviews and generates quality indicator reporting and is responsible for the dissemination of this information to the appropriate renal committees.
• Works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to achieve the goals for the dialysis patient as mandated by the regulatory agencies.
• Coordinates the scheduling and completion of the interdisciplinary assessment and plan of care for patients.
• Maintains staff schedule to comply with accepted staff/patient ratio.
• Demonstrates knowledge of admission and referral requirements to the facility.
• Works with facility admission staff to facilitate timely acceptance of new patients to the program.
• Knowledge of CDC/NHSN, Crownweb, QRIN3 data reporting requirements.
• Reviews inventory to ensure fiscal management of the facility.
• Maintains an excellent customer-service focus.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing; bachelors of science degree in nursing is preferred
• Minimum of five years of full-time of hemodialysis and or Peritoneal Dialysis experience
• Nephrology Nursing certification is preferred
• Minimum of one year in a management/administrative experience is preferred
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, problem solve and make decisions
• Ability to positively interact with everyone from personnel and residents to government agencies and the general public
