Jersey City, NJ, May 8, 2017 – Alaris Health Member Centers understand how important it is to be active and involved in its surrounding communities and holds and participates in various local events each year.

For the first time ever, Alaris Health will be a sponsor of the National Diversity Council’s annual New Jersey Women in Leadership Symposium on May 11th at the Wyndham Worldwide Hotel in Parsippany, New Jersey. Moreover, Alaris Health is excited to have one of its own, Regional VP of Operations Regina Figueroa, be a panelist at the event. Regina was nominated by Dr. Meika Roberson, CMO at Hoboken Medical Center and was chosen for her inspiring leadership in the community.

Each year, the theme of the symposium changes. This year’s theme is “Be fearless: Influence, Innovate and Inspire.” Regina will be one of five other female panelists who will speak about different topics that affect female leaders at all levels, both in their professional and personal lives. The topics will range from dealing with social media to strategies on leading with authenticity. The topics will be followed by an open discussion for attendees to ask questions.

“I’m hoping what people take away from this symposium is that there isn’t a perfect answer to effective leadership in the workplace,” Regina said. “I hope they see the different panelists’ views, have their questions answered and learn tips that they can take back and apply to their own lives.”

The New Jersey Women in Leadership Symposium is open to the public and tickets are available online at https://nationaldiversitycouncilregistration.org/ts/wil. To learn more about the National Diversity Council, visit http://www.nationaldiversitycouncil.org/.
